Caroline's Rainbow Cake Smash

Rainbows, pom-poms, popcorn, sprinkles, puffy tu-tu, diamonds, 1 year-old, and CAKE. I don't know if it gets much better than that. Between all of that beautiful imagery and the great company while photographing, this was such a fun session! Sweet Caroline is officially a one year old and has a wonderful personality already. Her appetite blew me away. I was most impressed when I watched her lean over and take a big bite of her moms shrimp! (She officially eats better than me, as an adult.) Did I mention that her mom provided all of the props, including that amazing rainbow cake?! She and a friend literally made it the morning before the session. I was very impressed with it all! It's safe to say that Caroline was impressed too. She really enjoyed playing with the pom-poms and diamonds. Dare I say that she enjoyed them more than the cake? With some enticing, she eventually dug into the cake and the rest was history. Dear Caroline, may you never lose your varied palate, your beautiful laugher, and playful personality. Happy 1st birthday!
